Health Science Degree Program

The Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) provides you with an excellent opportunity to meet the prerequisitions for most medical degrees. This four-year program is designed for students who have earned an Associate of Health Science, diploma, or military equivalent credit from a community college or technical school.

Proper selection of upper level electives allows you to prepare for the competitive admissions of graduate education in a variety of fields. The BHS degree blends your technical credits with an academically sound program.

Curriculum Outline: Bachelor of Health Science

General College Curriculum - 53 Hours
Technical Credits - 21-30 Hours
Additional Required Science Courses - 16 Hours
Upper Level Biology Electives (BIOL 300-400) - 12 Hours
Lower Level Electives (100-200) - 5-14 Hours
Upper Level Electives (300-400) - 12 Hours
Total Semester Hours: 128
